The music on this superb new collection was recorded in 2022 to celebrate the 40th birthday of the festival associated with Heavenly Sweetness. It is presented in two parts, past and future, and both are equally strong. The Past selection takes in tunes recorded at Vienne Antic Theatre from names such as McCoy Tyner, Hank Jones and with world music by Gilberto Gil and Banda de Santiago de Cuba. The future sounds come from the French scene's finest talents such as Emile Londonien, Leon Phal Quintet, Arnaud Dolmen, Abraham Reunion, Iskero and Gin Tonic Orchestra.
